The Seattle City Council on Monday repealed it's controversial ordinance that put a cap on the number of UberX, Sidecar and Lyft drivers on the streets.
The action makes a recently filed referendum to repeal the law mute.
It also makes way for the council to consider Mayor Ed Murray's deal on the app based transportation issue.
In the past year, to level the playing field, Yellow Cab has developed an app to compete with Uber.
