It's hard to imagine most high school students choosing to show up to class before dawn. But that's happening in Auburn. Students are choosing to come to school early for a computer science class.
The "Youth Spark Initiative" is taught by Microsoft employees who volunteer before work to teach students.
This Microsoft program pays schools $17 for every hour Microsoft employees volunteer. So far that's added up to more than $226,000 donated from Microsoft to Washington schools.
Microsoft estimates the program has helped more than 3,000 students.
