CONCORD, N.H. -- Mitt Romney is the winner of the New Hampshire primary, adding to his win in Iowa last week.

The dual victories establish Romney as the man to beat for the Republican presidential nomination.

The early returns from a little more than 10 percent of the precincts showed Romney with 36 percent of the vote. Ron Paul was second with 25 percent, and Jon Huntsman had 17 percent.

Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum followed with 11 percent and 10 percent respectively.

The outcome in New Hampshire is one that all of his rivals had virtually conceded ahead of time. Gingrich and others said anything below 40 percent for Romney would signal a lack of support among Republican voters.

Romney, the former governor of neighboring Massachusetts, had swept into New Hampshire nearly a week ago after winning the Iowa caucuses by eight votes.

Congratulations Mitt Romney and now onto This fool Obama. I can't hardly wait for the election and getting this food stamp country back on track. Put people back onto the jobs and pay checks, even the Unions would support this one. Go Romney go.

Can I be the first one to say, you Republicans dont make any sense. You have spent the last four years spreading this fiscal conservative concept, then you go and pick a candidate that, some would argue, is more liberal than Obama. Where did all that pent up frustration go? The Tea Party has dissappeared. I guess it served its purpose for the Republican standard bearers and now they are going to do what they planned from the beginning. The GOP kind of fed into their anger, told them what they wanted to hear and then pulled the rug from under them. Romney was Govenor of a State that makes Washington State seem like Utah. His programs during his tenure were progressive, to say the least. Pro abortion, Mandated Health care and same sex marriage. This is now the face of your party. What a frekkin joke you all have been made. This is too funny.

I agree with bluemax2001. Always feel cheated out here on the west coast. What is so special with the east coast people that they get to vote first? Should be a nation wide vote. We feel like left overs out here in the west. Get rid of the Electoral Collage. I agree we might just as well forget about voting or else vote for Mickey Mouse. It is frustrating enough without having all the decisions made for us. I DO NOT like Romney nor Ron Paul. I think Gingrich has he most experience, the most knowledge. He is humble and running a clean campaign. He is honest. I think he has the best chance of any of the candidates to pull everyone nationally and internationally together.

Again the east coast news media pundits, caucuses and primaries are choosing the nation's future presidents. Let it be a national primary all on the same day, and get rid of the electoral college on election day.

Well I am pulling for Newt Gingrich. He has the most experience, the most knowledge, the passion and the depth we need to clean up Obama's mess.

Wow...........Is this the best America has to offer.......I am not 100% pleased with Obama but...........Nitwit Romney!!!!!!!! For once I would like to see a president elected that came from the working class poor that has been there done that, worked his way up and not relyed on daddys money, has all the t-shirts,mugs ect that comes with that long journey. Instead we get this silver spoon brat that has bought every election since coming into office......It's just sad this is the best America has to offer!!!!!!! SAD,SAD,SAD.

Seeing how people are projecting Mitt Romney ahead of Ron Paul, Paul who could beat Obama, I would like to be the first to congratulate Barack Obama on his second term.
