USS John C. Stennis prepares for Arabian Gulf deployment

PACIFIC OCEAN, July 31, 2011 -- Fire Controlman 2nd Class Matthew Reynolds, from Avon Lake, Ohio, prepares to remove dummy shells from Closed-In Weapons System mount 24 aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). Stennis is on its way to the Western Pacific Ocean and the Arabian Gulf for a scheduled seven-month deployment.
