A social worker brings the Powell boys to Josh’s rental home in Graham, Wash. The two boys run inside, but Josh locks the social worker out. After the worker smells gas, there is an explosion and fire, killing Josh and his sons. Police believe Josh set it intentionally. It’s later revealed that Josh sent an email to his attorney reading only “I’m sorry. Goodbye.”
