A search for Susan turned up human remains on Aug. 15. It is not her. Three days later, west Valley City, Utah police say they have a new lead and plan to search in Ely, Nev, including an abandoned mine shaft. Meanwhile, Susan’s father, Chuck Cox, and Josh appear in a Tacoma courtroom on Aug. 23. Josh was seeking a restraining order against Cox, saying his father-in-law had threatened him and stalked him and his sons.
