Throughout the summer around the Northwest, car enthusiasts gather to show off their vintage wheels and meet other like-minded people.
Many of the cars feature hood ornaments that are miniature works of art. From the sleek and sophisticated to the whimsical, some are one-of-a-kind.
Jean Wyatt snapped photos of hood ornaments on cars at the Ruddell Car Show in Port Angeles, Good Guys Show in Puyallup and the Centralia Car Show.
