Crews from the Pyro Spectaculars and the Space Needle install several thousand pyrotechnic shots used to create the "Wimmer Solutions Presents New Year's at the Needle" fireworks display.
This year's design and song selection for the eight minute fireworks display drew inspiration from local musicians, as well as musicians who have visited the Emerald City over the years.
KING 5's Meeghan Black, Jim Dever and Michael King host New Year's at the Needle, beginning at 11:35 p.m., Dec. 31.
