Sounders' Johnson named MLS Comeback Player of the Year

Seattle Sounders FC striker Eddie Johnson was named MLS Comeback Player of the Year Tuesday.

Johnson returned to the MLS this season after four years abroad. He finished the season with 14 goals and three assists. He also earned his way back onto the U.S. National Team in the process.

During the regular season, the Sounders were 8-2-2 when Johnson scored and 2-0-1 when he recorded an assist.

Voting for the award was conducted among MLS management, media and players.
