Viewer photos of Snowy Owls around the Northwest. The owls are wintering in the area, feasting on voles and other small mammals. They should be around the region until about March, when they start making their way north.

I grew up on the coast of Washington in the 70's/80's. Snowy owls were wintering in that are back then so this is not really new.
