Howard Holt, who lives in the Sunset Hills area of Ballard, took some photos of a resident female Snowy owl that he says hangs out on his neighbor's rooftop for hours on end.
One of Holt's photos show the owl perched on top of a chimney, and another shows a curious squirrel.
"When they looked at each other, he left and everything was OK," Holt says.
