Yes, there are a few people who just don't watch football. It's not their thing. Regardless of whether it's a defacto national holiday, some people just won't watch the Super Bowl.
Just about every cable network will be providing some sort of Super Sunday distraction.
Animal Planet may have the cutest -- Puppy Bowl VIII. A handful of cute puppies are put onto a tiny football field with food and water bowls at each end. For two hours, puppy fans can sit and watch dogs being dogs.
All of the animals in Puppy Bowl VIII are rescues from shelters across the country.
For those who prefer felines, the halftime show is all about kittens.
The Puppy Bowl airs 3-5 p.m. Sunday on Animal Planet.
