Photographer extraordinaire, Michael Bendtsen of Wenatchee, took some gorgeous shots as he traveled from Seattle to Wenatchee on Monday.
He captures scenes of the Cascades with, as he says, a "great start on next year's water supply," to the "wheat, white, and wonder" of Central Washington farmland.
Another photo shows Badger Plateau, Badger Mountain, the Columbia River Valley towards Entiat, Waterville Plateau, and the town of Waterville.
And finally, a photo of the town of Wenatchee, along the Columbia River.
Bendtsen, who owns McGlinn's Public House restaurant in Wenatchee, is an avid photographer. Earlier this year, he took photos of a lightning strike as it started a brush fire on the hills above Wenatchee, and again when lightning started the Canyon fire that threatened homes in Wenatchee.
