Batman was at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to show off the seven original Batmobiles in anticipation of the The Dark Knight Rises DVD and Blu-ray release.
Original Batmobiles on display ahead of 'Dark Knight Rises' DVD release
The original Batmobile was originally a 1955 Ford Lincoln Futura concept car that cost $250,000. It was bought for $1 and transformed into Batman's ride in three weeks. It has 40 coats of super-gloss black.
