Queen debuts Olympic women's boxing in London

Tacoma’s Queen Underwood officially became the first American woman to set foot in an Olympic boxing ring on August 5, but her goal of bringing home gold ended in just one match. After a close first round that was scored 4-3 in favor of Underwood, Great Britain’s Natasha Jonas overtook Underwood with a 4-2 score in the second round. Jonas pulled away in the final two rounds to win 21-13.
