Fall from grace

After announcing he would no longer fight the doping accusations against him, Lance Armstrong’s fall as one of the top athletes in the world took a precipitous plunge. Armstrong’s decision was seen by many as an admission of guilt. On October 22, Armstrong was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles. His Olympic bronze medal is also in jeopardy. Armstrong stepped down from his role with the Livestrong Foundation and he has seen his endorsements disappear.
