Over the last 48 hours, mountains in Washington and Oregon have gotten their first snowflakes of the season.
The Summit at Snoqualmie, Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain, Mt. Hood Meadows and Mission Ridge all received a dusting of snow between Monday and Wednesday.
Pictures of the first snowfall were proudly posted on Facebook by mountain employees.
More light snow could be coming in the next few days. The freezing level is forecasted to be between 5,000 and 9,000 feet.
The elevations of all five ski areas are between 3,500 and 7,000 feet.
