Fox News hires Tomi Lahren as contributor, will appear on 'Hannity'

Conservative pundit Tomi Lahren will join Fox News as a contributor, primarily offering her opinions on Sean Hannity's prime time show Hannity.

The cable network announced the hire on Wednesday, saying Lahren will have a "signature role on an FNC digital product currently in development and will also offer political commentary to the network's opinion programming."

She'll start her tenure Wednesday night with an appearance on Hannity.

"I am blessed and honored to join the Fox News team," Lahren wrote on Facebook. "This exciting new step will allow me to give voice to all the America-loving patriots who have had my back since day one."

Lahren hosted her own show Tomi on Glenn Beck's The Blaze website. She was suspended in March, and later sued Beck and The Blaze, alleging she was fired for her pro-choice stance on abortion. Both sides settled in May.

She most recently worked for the Great America Alliance, a super PAC benefiting President Trump's re-election bid in 2020. She also hosted On Point with Tomi Lahren on One America News Network.

Lahren's fiery brand of commentary often drags her into the spotlight, from her back-and-forth with The Daily Show's Trevor Noah, to a beef with rapper Wale and ex-president Obama's Middle East policy.
