The cast of the hit White House drama The West Wing has made a comeback for the 2012 political season with a slick new commercial for the sister of one cast member.

The video is filled with the great, snappy dialogue you remember from the NBC series that ran for seven seasons. It’s an ad for Bridget Mary McCormack, who is running for a non-partisan position on the Michigan Supreme Court. McCormack is the sister of actress Mary McCormack, who played Deputy National Security Advisor Kate Harper for the final two seasons of the series.

Cast members reprising their roles in character, including Mary McCormack, are Martin Sheen (President Jed Bartlet), Allison Janney (C.J. Cregg), Bradley Whitford (Josh Lyman), Janel Moloney (Donna Moss), Richard Schiff (Toby Ziegler), Joshua Malina (Will Bailey) and even Lily Tomlin as Pres. Bartlet’s assistant, Deborah Fiderer.

While some of the video is a pat on the back for the candidate, it’s also meant to get a message out to voters to make sure they look at both sides of their ballot in order to vote on the non-partisan races, such as the one McCormack is in.
