Have you seen the Washington state 2010 ballot?  Are you confused even after studying the Voters Pamphlet?

There are six initiatives on this year's ballot.  And, that doesn't include two proposed constitutional changes and a referendum.  How can you figure out what all these ballot measures mean?

In the KING 5 News Up Front Voters Guide,  Robert Mak breaks down the complexities and helps you make the right decisions.

The U.S. Department of Justice says it will deploy more than 400 election monitors to 18 states to keep tabs on the electoral process. Their mission is to prevent fraud, intimidation, or voter suppression. I hope these people make it to King county Election Center and no more bags of ballots brought in from the alley in back of the building. Republicans deserve the same opportunity in this state that this state has given dear old Patti the last 18 years. Go Dino !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

catzuki - you're so right ! Thanks king5 news for your informative program. We need to see who is behind these initiatives. Correct me if I am wrong - did I hear that the initiatives could be overturned after 2 years? We better be careful what, and who, we are voting for! There's been so much divisiveness and mean-spiritedness in this election. There are so many good, decent hardworking people out there who are confused by all this brainwashing. After this election, no matter who wins, let's keep after our representatives and tell them to start pulling together, to look out for ALL the people and our beloved USA! Stop the hatred, vicious attacks, mean-spiritedness and prejudice! Let's realize we live in the best country in the world and we have something precious here that none of us can afford to lose. Here in our beautiful area, the sun is shining, the sky is blue and we truly have a lot to be thankful for - have a great day everyone and PLEASE STOP THE HATE!!

Thank you for this presentation! I am amazed at how so many voters I have talked to never bother to research who is actually behind these initiatives and the effects they will ultimately have on our citizens. Its unfortunate that the free flow of booze seems more important than services and jobs to so many in this state.
