Superior Court Judges don't have to live in the counties they represent to be eligible for office according to the Washington State Supreme Court.

This decision upholds the election of Christine Schaller as a Thurston County Superior Court judge.

A resident of Thurston County sued to challenge Schaller's candidacy because she lives in  Pierce County.
