SEATTLE – A new poll finds job approval for Washington's two U.S. senators is falling.

The poll, conducted by SurveyUSA for KING 5 News and KATU-TV in Portland, finds 42 percent approve of the job Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., is doing, while 45 percent disapprove.

They look at Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., even less favorably. Only 38 percent approve of her job performance while 49 percent disapprove.

The poll of 600 Washington state adults has a margin of error of ± 4.1 percent.

Both senators have seen their approval ratings fall since the start of the year. A similar survey by SurveyUSA in January showed Murray with a 55 percent approval rating while Cantwell was at 52 percent.

In February, Murray's approval rating was at 43 percent. Cantwell was 46 percent.

Murray is seeking a fourth term in the Senate this November.

With an approval rating of 43% she still gets re-elected by King County. Is there anybody awake here? I think not. Maria you are next to run the tide. This state needs to look around and get involved and boot these dollys out for good.

These anti american idiots had a second chance to kill obamacare today when they had to re vote on it. After seeing how many americans did not want it after the first vote, they will once again go against the will of the people and vote for it again. These two need to be voted out of office - they are anti american . They represent their political party and not their constituents. They need to go so we can once again become a free republic. (republicans are not much better - they refuse to let this unconstitutional legislation / socialism in and that's better than this)

The very sad thing is the two parties made sure independents and third party candidates would have a tough time surviving the primary in this state (top two move on) - that's why seattle elected yet another idiot mayor............... I stated earlier that liberals should have been horrified with obamacare passing - it will be ruled unconstitutional and every democrat that voted for it will be looking for a new job come election time. The narcissistic idiot is also guaranteed with being a one term president. If only this country can survive that long.

It is about time that their voting record for more spending, more taxes catches up with them. Time for a change.

Here's a news flash! Both of these buffoons voted in favor of this health insurance fiasco and the state of Washington is going to sue the federal government, along with 36 other states, over reimbursement for Medicare/Medicaid. That's just the tip of the iceberg relating to the total lack of job performance for these two. It's time for "change" as their leader continues to say, so let's start this November and get rid of Murray and in two years we can give Can't do very Well her walking papers.

Lil sis needs to be voted out. She has always been an embarrassment to the people of WA. This State is filled with so many weak men that want to be dominated by just plain goofy women. Nothing wrong at all with having women in office, if they are capable of representing the state with honor. Our Governor needs to be recalled, out thrown out of office for her malfeasance. This state is going to go through a hard right turn, away from the Do-Gooders. Increasing taxes, and thwarting the will of the people will haunt democrats for many years. I am an independent who used to vote mostly democratic, but not anymore. Hell hath no fury like the voters scorn.

oldlady, sorry but YOU are wrong. What has Can't (do anything very) well done for Washington? Murray may have done a few things for certain groups but blindly following the party line is going to get a lot of Democrats fired come November. Whenever I write Senator Murray I get the same old tired party line. Blah, blah, blah. At this point I don't care if it's a republican or democrat that replaces them as long as it's someone different.

Sorry, kennovak..you are wrong. These two ladies have worked tirelessly for the state of Washington and are doing a terrific job!! They have fought hard for the VA, Military spouse, Military and for issues that affect the residents of our good state. We supporters will just have to work harder to make sure they stay in office. I don't put a lot of faith in a poll of 600 people from our state. I will be sure to send a thank you to both of them to know that we do appreciate what they are doing! BTW, I am wondering about the "brightness" of your bulb....

The dim bulbs' days are numbered! Hopefully we can get the 'mom in tennis shoe' out of office this November. She has embarrassed the good name of Washington State for far too long!
