NBC News reports that two departing political leaders from Washington state are among the rumored names to be the next Secretary of the Interior.
A Democrat with knowledge of the environmental community and appointee process tells NBC that Washington Governor Chris Gregoire (D) and retiring Congressman Norm Dicks (D-Wash.) are at the top of the list, along with Sen. Byron Dorgan (D - N.D.)
It's been rumored that current Interior Secretary Ken Salazar may leave his post.
