Several of my collegues and I just all discovered that we don't seem to have received our ballot in the mail, and with the polling stations not being available as they were for the Presidential election, we are completely unable to participate in the vote today. We are all King County residents, who have an opinion but no way of voting. I think this mail only system is completely flawed, and would like to see some polling stations available. If no polling stations are available, please make a blank ballot available to pick up from somewhere like your local post office or court house, so that voting citizens who did not receive their ballot in the mail, or have some how or another had their ballot misplaced, still can participate in this process. It's very frustrating to have a strong opinion on one or more of the items on the ballot and sitting here at our desks at work, knowing that our voices will not be heard.

Does anyone know, are there Post Office locations where you can still drop off election ballots to have them postmarded today Nov 3rd? [ ie: after 8pm Drop Box deadline ]

nicole04uw I'm sorry you didn't get your ballot and agree that there are flaws. There was an article posted earlier today that there were options for people who didn't receive or lost their ballots: http://your.kingcounty.gov/votes/2009/11/its-not-too-late-to-vote.html. Hopefully next time it will run smoother.
