Spending to influence Washington voters on initiatives on the 2012 ballot has topped $30 million, according to filings with the state Public Disclosure Commission.
Supporters of R-74, the campaign to uphold Washington's same-sex marriage law, have spent $10.9 million so far, compared with just $2.1 million raised by opponents.
Backers of I-502, the marijuana legalization initiative, have spent $5.7 million, with opponents spending only $18,000.
The campaign to legalize charter schools has spent $9.3 million to urge voters to support I-1240, far more than the $641,000 raised by opponents.
