Local nonprofit provides trained service dogs, changes lives

Trained service dogs have become a vital resource for the more than 55 million Americans living with various disabilities.  

Summit Assistance Dogs is a non-profit organization in Western Washington that provides highly trained service dogs to those with disabilities. 

Sue Meinzinger, Founder and Executive Director of Summit Assistance Dogs, and Alex Stone, Summit Staff Member and service dog recipient, talk about the life-changing partnerships between a person and their service dog.
