PORTLAND – Poodles rescued from a Southeast Portland house last week are starting to go up for adoption.
Multnomah County Animal Services officers were called out at about noon to the home on the 13000 block of Southeast Harold Street. Officials said some of the animals were in “filthy condition, matted and caked with feces.”
Four birds and several cats were also taken from the home.
They were taken to the Animal Services shelter in Troutdale. Adoption information should be available through MultCoPets.org.
The animals needed to be examined and groomed before they are ready for adoption.
