Say goodbye to the full-body "nude" airport scanners.

The Transportation Security Administration recently said it removed all 250 of the scanners from U.S. airports, which used X-rays to create realistic full-body images of travelers.

Critics called them "virtual strip searches" and said they were too revealing and invasive.

Others were concerned about the health risks of the scanners' use of radiation.

The TSA decided to remove them in February, after Congress voted to require all scanners to use software to protect airport visitors' privacy.
