WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) — Police in Utah are still looking for a 28-year-old mother who hasn't been heard from since last weekend.
Authorities are treating the disappearance of 28-year-old Susan Powell as a missing persons case, and term it "suspicious."
Powell, a mother of two, reportedly left her purse, cell phone and car at her home in a Salt Lake City suburb last weekend, and didn't show up Monday for her stockbroker's job at Wells Fargo Financial.
West Valley City Police Capt. Tom McLachlan says Powell hasn't contacted anyone since her disappearance.
And her parents say that Powell wouldn't have left her two young sons and husband on her own accord.
The Salt Lake Tribune has reported that her husband, Joshua Powell, also was missing from work Monday after a purported camping trip. Police have questioned him but not released any details.
