Supermoon blamed for sending women into labor

The moon is powerful. It has the strength to rule the tides but does it have the power to influence a woman's labor? Some say yes.

It has not been scientifically proven but some people say it's hard to ignore the correlation between a full moon and an increase in women going into labor.

A supermoon occurs when the moon is slightly closer to Earth than it typically is, and the effect is most noticeable when it occurs around the same time as a full moon.

It can appear 14% bigger and 30% brighter than usual, according to NASA.

The full moon won’t come this close to Earth again until Nov. 25, 2034, NASA says.
