Seahawks' football safety clinic includes NFL mom Constance Trufant

Constance Trufant spoke about an upcoming football safety clinic and family volleyball event.

Sports-related concussions have been a hot topic among athletes, medical professionals, and most importantly, moms wondering whether enrolling their sons in contact sports, like football, is safe. The Seahawks have teamed up with USA Football's Heads Up Program to host a special FREE clinic to show moms how the program is working to make youth football safer.

Among those lending their insight tonight, is a mom whose three sons played football through the NFL level: NFL All Pro cornerback and former Seahawk Marcus Trufant, and his brothers: NFL free agent cornerback Isaiah, and current Atlanta Falcons cornerback Desmond. Constance Trufant shared her family's football experience, as well as the work they do together as part of the Trufant Family Foundation.

The Seahawks' Moms Clinic takes place this evening (Monday, June 27) at 6:00 pm at CenturyLink Field. The event is free, but registration is required, CLICK HERE for more information and to register.
