Obliteride bigger than ever as cyclists aim to defeat cancer

KING 5's Ted Land reports

SEATTLE -- Obliteride 2016 is the biggest yet. More than 1,400 people registered for the bike ride, which raises money for Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle.

Everyone in the crowd was touched by cancer in some way, including 140 survivors.

KING 5’s Ted Land rode along to hear some of their stories and learn more about what's being done to defeat a disease that kills more than half a million Americans each year.
