Friday Harbor man killed in Tukwila Light Rail Station stabbing

TUKWILA, Wash. - A 29-year-old male from Friday Harbor has died from life-threatening injuries sustained in a stabbing.

King County Deputies and Tukwila Police responded to reports of a stabbing shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday evening. A deputy arrived at the Link Light Rail Station in the 3600 block of Southcenter Boulevard to find the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts.

Police officers were able to locate a 30-year-old suspect a short distance from the station and took him into custody. Police do not yet know of any connection between the suspect and victim.
