On Saturday night Comcast suffered a video outage that affected all customers in Washington state to varying degrees. The outage began around 6:30 p.m. and was not completely fixed until after 10:30 p.m.
The company said the outage temporarily prevented customers from receiving channels 30 and above.
Phone and internet service were not impacted.
Angry customers took to Twitter and Facebook to complain and vent.
"Hope this mean I will get a discount on my next bill. Don't like paying for services I'm not getting," said one.
"Comcast infinity - what about the rest of the people that just want to watch what we pay for? Is this outage caused because of the Mayweather v Pacquiao fight? I want a refund for today on my bill," said another.
And finally - "There were more watchers during the Super Bowl. How come it didn't crash then? Eyebrow raise."
Comcast has said the outage did not stop viewers from seeing the Mayweather v Pacquiao fight.
