Amy's organic foods recalled over listeria concern

Amy's Kitchen is voluntarily recalling over 73,890 cases of organic food products due to possible listeria contamination. Over a dozen products were recalled, including Amy's vegetable lasagna, tofu scramble, spinach pizza and enchilada verde.

Amy's issued the recall after receiving a notice from one of their organic spinach suppliers that they may have received spinach possibly tainted with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections.

While Amy's Kitchen says it's not aware of any cases of illnesses related to the products, they' re voluntarily recalling the items and have notified its distributors and retailers.
