A woman was pushed into the path of an oncoming car in Skyway Monday, said Washington State Patrol troopers.
The 44-year-old Seattle woman was hit by the car and now has possibly life-threatening injuries, troopers said.
No one has been arrested, but police have a description of a person of interest.
Troopers said the woman and the male person of interest were walking Monday evening on SR 900/Martin Luther King Jr. Way near East 129th Street.
After a verbal altercation, troopers said the man pushed the woman into the street where she was hit by an SUV.
The person of interest is described as a black male in his 40's, about 5-feet 7 inches and 140 pounds.
Eastbound SR 900 was blocked for more than two hours during the investigation.
