SEATTLE - A Seattle woman who served prison time for second-degree murder is accused of trying to kill again in a jealous rage over a man.

Patricia Crowl was charged with attempted first-degree murder last week. Police say that using text messages, she lured her new boyfriend's ex to a Kirkland parking garage and attacked her. The 28-year-old woman called 911 with her cell phone to say she had been "stabbed everywhere" and told police where to find her; she survived after being rushed to Harborview Medical Center.

Crowl, who turns 55 Tuesday, was released from prison in 2006 after serving time for bludgeoning and choking a pregnant woman named with a wrench in 1997. The victim had been dating Crowl's boyfriend at the time. Crowl hid her body under her house before dumping it in a South Seattle ravine.

Crowl is being held on $3 million bail.
