1. Folklife Festival: Several hundred thousand people will descend on Seattle Center this weekend to sing, dance, play instruments and generally clown around. This year there will be a special focus on Indian culture, a tribute to Pete Seeger, and a pretty-much never-ending social dance in the Fisher Pavilion.

2. SIFF in the suburbs: The film festival moves to Renton this week, and continues at Lincoln Square in Bellevue. Foreign movies, art-house fare, documentaries and family films are all on view.

3. Memorial Day: Services, parades and special events stretch from Bothell to Tukwila and beyond. Watch the segment above for more info.
