What's open, what's closed for Presidents Day

Presidents Day changes:

  • King County Metro Transit will operate a reduced weekday schedule.
  • Pierce Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule with additional service in some areas.
  • The King County Water Taxi will not operate either the Vashon or the West Seattle routes.
  • The free West Seattle taxi shuttles will not operate.
  • Most banks and credit unions are closed.
  • Most city, county, state and federal offices are closed.
  • All post offices are closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery.
  • Parking in Seattle is free Monday.
  • Seattle Public Schools are closed for midwinter break.
  • Washington State Ferries are on a normal sailing schedule.
