Protesters identified by Seattle Police as the "Black Bloc" overtook a peaceful May Day protest and march at Westlake Center Tuesday, resulting in dozens of businesses being vandalized.

In this aerial video, you can see members of the "Black Bloc" gradually assemble at Westlake, and even change into the black clothing that covered their faces and bodies.

The footage was shot between 12:05 p.m. and 12:15 p.m. and was clipped into a four minute video.

Among peaceful protesters, it shows people huddling around a group of other protesters dressed in black, taking out backpacks and shedding their street clothes for dark clothing.

Some can also be seen taking out sticks that police said were used to smash downtown business windows.

The "Black Bloc" began to march away from Westlake around 12:20 p.m. Over the next hour, dozens of acts of vandalism in downtown Seattle were recorded on camera and broadcast live on TV.
