Two University of Washington students were robbed at gunpoint near campus Thursday morning.

Seattle police say it happened just after 1 a.m. in the 5000 block of 18th Avenue NE.

Police say the male victims were walking when a man came up to them, pointed a handgun and told them he wanted “all their stuff.” There were three other people with the suspect.

The victims raised their hands and the suspect went through their pockets, stealing cash and one of the victims’ cell phones. He smashed the cell phone belonging to the other victim.

The suspect with the gun is described as a black male in his 20s, 6 feet tall with a slim build and a short afro. He was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. The victims were not able to get a good description of the other suspects.

The victims were not hurt.
