SEATTLE - Two people - one goal: to turn their lives around.

"My addiction was killing me," says Kyle Davis who admits he almost died from his use of alcohol.

"There was a time I did meth every day," says Brittany Briggs.

Each ended up at Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission where they go the help they needed. They’re still getting help. Kyle at the men’s shelter. Brittany at the women’s. Classes and counseling helps them stay on track.

I asked them both to describe their worst day.

"Um," each of them answering, hesitating, searching for that single worst day. They couldn’t. Every day was a worst day for them when they were going through their addictions. But ask them about their best day, that’s easy!

"Tomorrow," says Brittany. "Tomorrow I get married to an amazing guy."

The place that helped them live was also the place where they learned to love each other.

Two people - one wish: to spend the rest of their lives together. For better, for worse.

"It’s the beginning of a new life," says Kyle.

"It turned out totally amazing," says Brittany.
