SEATTLE - Two people on a motorcycle were hurt when they were hit by an SUV in downtown Seattle overnight.
The SUV struck the motorcycle at Seventh and Virginia just before 3 a.m.
Seattle Police say the two people on the motorcycle suffered fractures and broken bones.
They were transported to the hospital along with a police officer who breathed in smoke from the SUV, which caught fire. Five people were inside the SUV. None were hurt.
