SEATTLE - Two men have filed a civil lawsuit against the Boy Scouts of America and its Seattle chapter, alleging they were sexually assaulted as children by an assistant scoutmaster in Kent.

The two say they were abused in the early 1970s by Jack Loholt, also known as Jack Onefrey.

He has been convicted of sex crimes in Washington state and Canada.

According to the lawsuit, Loholt was removed from scouting by his Mormon church's bishop, but later allowed to return after counseling.

they probably weren't ready to face that mental trauma until now. No one wants to be known as the kid that was raped by his assistant scout master. Some people with PTSD completely block out the event that caused it. Something could have triggered a relapse in one of these individuals who just want to seek closure to the horrible event. Just think if it happened to you as a kid would you have the guts to put yourself in front of the media to tell your story or try to pretend it didn't happen?

Probably never spent a day at camp, but the dollar signs are popping up.

It took forty years to remember? Why didn't they remember back when everyone else was remembering they were assaulted?
