OLYMPIA, Wash. -- Thurston County deputies are investigating a shooting just outside Olympia Monday night.
Deputies responded to the 12100 block of Champion Drive around 8:45 p.m. after a 41-year-old man called to say he was acting in self-defense when he unloaded his gun on a 30-year-old man.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say this doesn't appear to be a home invasion.
