ISSAQUAH, Wash. - Surveillance video shows a man brazenly stealing an $11,000 bike in Issaquah.

The man had a gun when he walked into the Veloce Velo bike shop on front street and showed that he had it before walking out with the expensive bike.

A day earlier, two men were acting suspiciously while in the store.

Police said they spent an hour in the store asking for prices, which leads them to believe that it wasn't a simple snatch and grab.

The suspect wore a camouflage hat with a beige bandana and spoke with an Eastern European accent.

11,000 for a road bike? Stealing it almost seems justified, since either way...someone is stealing...

hey intell, it doesn't take much to take this to a bicycle chop shop and part it out. How much is a wheel worth. How about them derailers?

Start looking for a Javelin Cortina on e-bay or Craig's list. What is he going to do with it, ride it, not with all the bike eyes out there who fantasized about owning one, it would be spotted in no time, A $11,000 bike tends to stand out.
