Taste of Edmonds, free concert, exotic flowers this weekend

Here are a couple of things going on this weekend around Seattle, August 10-12, recommended by Lynn Jacobson, Features Editor of the Seattle Times.

1. Music at the Mural: Seattle Center hosts free concerts every Friday night in August, outdoors on the Mural Amphitheatre lawn. This weekend -- Brad, The Young Evils and Posse.

2. Taste of Edmonds has been serving up food and entertainment in this seaside spot for 30 years. It runs Friday through Sunday and the headline performer is Blake Lewis, of "American Idol" fame.
