SEATTLE -- Artist Jean Bradbury is sharing her love of art with children refugees from Syria. In a few weeks, Bradbury will travel to the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan to deliver art and educational supplies to children. Her project is called Studio Syria.
"They have it within their imaginations to make it a better world than they've been handed," said Bradbury.
She first traveled to the refugee camp earlier this year. Bradbury believes art is "emotional therapy" for the kids.
"It centers and calms them and they can really focus on expressing what is inside them. We don't often get a chance to do that in the world," said Bradbury.
Through Studio Syria, Bradbury raises money so she can purchase the art supplies. She will return to the refugee camp next month.
