SEATAC, Wash. - Police have arrested a man who allegedly threatened to blow up a motel and all King County Sheriff's Office precincts in the city of SeaTac.
The incident took place at a Motel 6 at S. 166th Street and Pacific Highway South.
According to authorities, they received a bomb threat at around 3 a.m. Tuesday. The call was traced to a room at the motel.
When officers arrived at the motel, they found the suspect in the room and took him into custody. The officers then began to search the motel for any explosives.
"They started bamming on the doors. They were bamming on all the doors upstairs. They bammed on my door and said you got to get out," said one motel guest. "I said, who is it? They said you have to come out, something happened downstairs."
No explosives were found in the room or around the motel. Officers also searched all of the precinct offices in SeaTac but didn't find anything. A suspicious package was found at SeaTac City Hall but officers say it was not a threat.
