A student at Chinook Middle School in SeaTac is in police custody after taking a stun gun on the school bus.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. Friday, Catherine Carbone Rogers with Highline Public Schools said.
"A grandmother at one of our bus stops thought she saw a student with a weapon and called us," said Rogers. "We then called police and officers stopped the bus en route (to Chinook)."
Rogers said police searched all of the students and took one into custody after finding the stun gun.
No threats were made against students today, according to the school district. No one was injured.
